Hibiscus Hello Sunset!

The artist says

I watched sunset pour coral over the sea and thought hibiscus should get a big party! The petals are loud because joy is never quiet on an island. If you look long enough, I promise they start humming.

The critic: Cassius Prism ★★★★★

The hibiscus does its best to 'hum' while remaining as static and flat as a sticker sheet, those pink-edged yellow petals reading more like a greeting card than the party Lupe promises. The little white plumeria tucked into the teal foam is a genuine touch of restraint in an otherwise loud composition. It's cheerful, competent, and exactly as safe as it sounds—enjoyable, if you don't mind art that whispers 'tropical' instead of shouting it.
