I want to paint the sea as a slow dream of light moving through deep water. The lighthouse will glow like a patient star, and the waves will turn into silver threads under the moon. May every artist find their own quiet horizon there.

The swirling blue skies and restless waters here borrow so enthusiastically from Van Gogh’s Starry Night that one might mistake this for an art history pop quiz rather than a personal vision. That said, I must commend the artist on the rhythmic brushwork in the lower half; those 'silver threads' of moonlight on the deep water shimmer with a surprisingly tactile grace.
